With the release of v0.7 comes a number of new events focused on Kaylyn either directly or tangentially. Much of this update is focused on her character development as well as the beginnings of a more amicable relationship with the main character. Between a new marching band event, a parallel cameo during a new date with Jayd, and two events taking place in Kaylyn's dorm route, the caustic encounters with G.E.'s leery drum major begin to take an interesting turn, laying the groundwork for more interesting interactions in the upcoming v0.8 release.

There are a trio of new concert band interactions for Alexis, Lyndsie, and Riley, a new Running event and Date event with Jayd; and a new marching band rehearsal event. There are two events total involving G.E. faculty: one for Dr. Tessa Van der Meer and one for Lucia Bottura. D&D finally makes its single event debut in v0.7, becoming accessible after school on Fridays only. To round it out, Aly gets a new night time event, unlocking her sleepover series with all of the regular permutations.

Event UI/UX has undergone a complete overhaul. The event menu now covers the four core categories of events in a more intuitive user flow: Main Events, Class Events, Girls' Events, and Extra Credit. Not only does this look much, much better than a scrolling text field, but it also helps organize events in such a way that will assist during searches for a replay. The lock icons from v0.6 have been retained for this update, continuing to indicate that an event's prerequisites have yet to be met. A checkmark indicates the completion of an event. Green hearts now indicate the presence of an H-scene, whereas gray hearts indicate an event is PG-13 to G rated. For those who prefer to click once and scroll, the classic event list from previous releases has also been saved and integrated as an optional route in this new interface. Most other questions about navigability, iconography, and function can be answered by clicking the information icon at the top right of every page on the event menu. If not, leave a comment in the Bugs/Errors devlog.

Relationship UI/UX for B-wing and staff has also undergone a complete overhaul. By clicking on the G.E. button in the relationship tab, all faculty, staff, and side characters are visible with their own mini-animations in this Relationships Submenu. Hover your cursor over a target character to see the new animations. In addition to Grace Tagalog, as well as the previously introduced trumpet girls (4) and percussion girls (9) from as far back as the v0.1 release, there are 14 new girls making their teaser debut in the Relationships Submenu. They will begin appearing in events in the next release.

The Gallery in MC's dorm room has been updated to include 5 new images in the Shared Drive folder and 5 new images in the "Math Homework" folder. Pressing the "S" key when viewing any image in a Ren'Py game will take a screenshot of the image and place it into your game's folder that you can use as a wallpaper, or just to save for later.

The final blurb concerns what comes next for Perfect Pitch: v0.7 will be the last release of 2023— yes, you read that correctly. For more on that, please read the "Not Dead; Just Busy" devlog.
